Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Edmonds, WA 98026

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Edmonds, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). 13-week assignment through January 18, 2027. Floating to sister facilities as needed. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Labor and Delivery experience including LDRP, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborn care
• Opportunity to work with high-risk and low-risk obstetrical patients in a dynamic family-centered environment
• Circulate for cesarean sections and recover C-section patients
• Staffing ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 ensuring quality patient care
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Facility delivers 200-300 births per month

Requirements:

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience (LDRP, L&D, postpartum, and newborn care)
• Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Proficiency in IV starts, circulating for C-sections, administering blood/blood products, managing epidural and PCA pumps, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Experience with high-risk antepartum and delivery, IUPC placement and calibration, sterile vaginal exams, and central line maintenance
• Must not have worked at any affiliated facilities within the past 3 months as a permanent employee
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
• Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)
