Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: CVOR - RN (Travel Contract) Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Location: Newport News, Virginia (Riverside Regional Medical Center) Shift: Days (4x10 Hours, 07:00 - 17:30) Target Start Date: 09/14/2026 VMS Req ID: 3414761 Position Summary Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse needed for a multi-service Level II Trauma Center featuring 15 suites (including one hybrid OR), 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, and 5 vascular surgeons. Responsibilities include high-acuity surgical support (cardiac, thoracic, vascular; scrubbing a plus) and general OR circulating across core service lines. On-call requirements include four weekday call shifts (Mon–Fri from end of shift until 07:00) and four weekend call shifts per month (covering 7a-7p and 7p-7a on Saturdays and Sundays).
