Social Media SpecialistThe Sage Group's client, a tech food company who is looking to "make meat right", has a rare opportunity for a social media specialist to help build a historic, category-defining consumer brand from early stages. In this role you will own or support the following areas:Community managementInbound/outbound engagement on social channels and partnership contentCommunity management on Reddit and threadsMonitoring for emergent trends or mentions of brand keywordsReporting and analyticsAssist with putting together monthly reportsRecognizing trends in social media for the company to engage withEmail copy and schedulingWorking in partnership with copy and design team to draft and schedule monthly emailsCore contributor for content strategyAssist with influencer outreach and managementFocus on coordinating the outreach, contracting, and payments of creator partnersBroad marketing efforts and support beyond socialQualifications:3- 5+ years of experience in a corporate marketing social media roleDeep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and broader social media trendsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to work quickly and adapt in a fast-moving, trend-driven environmentWillingness to travel for shoots, events, and brand activations as neededBONUS Skills:Familiarity with paid media management/boostingDesign skillset (in Canva or Figma) to make social media carousel contentComfortable on camera to be another personality in our video contentFamiliarity with video production to assist behind the camera or in post-productionThis is a long-term contract with the possibility of extension and/or contract-to-hire Location: San Francisco Bay Area.
