Medical Assistant Dermatology

Job Description

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our team. Prior dermatology experience is not required, but you will be expected to learn on the job. Our typical schedule is Monday-Thursday with 36-40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

Document medical history, physical exam, and plan in patient chart
Learn common diagnoses and medications used in dermatology
Assist with medical examinations, surgical procedures (skin biopsies and excisions), and patient calls/medication requests
Prepare and clean exam rooms and medical instruments

Skills Required

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced busy office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
