Caregiver / Respite Worker

Urgent Hiring – Multiple Openings Available

365 Home Care is currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers/Respite Workers to join our team. We have immediate openings throughout Orange County , including Irvine, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Orange, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Yorba Linda, and surrounding areas.

A Respite Caregiver provides temporary relief to primary caregivers of individuals who require ongoing care, supervision, or assistance with daily activities. We serve children and adults ages 3 years and older .

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, feeding, dressing, diaper changes, and light meal preparation.

• Support clients in leading independent lives while encouraging participation and engagement within their homes and communities.

• Create fun, creative, and meaningful activities that help clients develop important life skills.

• Support clients in making informed choices while promoting their rights and responsibilities.

• Utilize appropriate de-escalation techniques during behavioral outbursts when needed.

• Provide support to clients, their families, and the 365 Home Care team with additional tasks as necessary.

Flexible Scheduling:

Work as little as 4 hours per week or up to 40 hours per week . Caregivers have the flexibility to choose a schedule that works best for their availability and client needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Must be willing to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (training available for qualified applicants).
• Successful Live Scan background check.

Preferred:
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience .
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Details:

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected Hours: Minimum of 4 hours per week

Work Location:

Field-based position providing care in clients' homes and within the community throughout Orange County .
