Work Environment

Located in the heart of Lake City, Florida, our Rehabilitation Facility is designed to foster healing and recovery. You will be working collaboratively in a supportive environment that encourages professional development and integration of evidence-based practices. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including a review of their medical history and specific assessments to diagnose functional limitations and create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement targeted treatment protocols that align with the patient's presentation and clinical findings, adapting strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Document treatment progress meticulously, producing clear and accurate clinical notes that reflect patient interactions, goals, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations as needed, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to refine treatment plans and address any changes in the patient's condition.
• Lead the discharge planning process by ensuring patients are fully educated about their recovery processes and recommending follow-up care, including home exercise programs or further interventions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while participating in ongoing training programs to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Foster effective communication with all stakeholders—including co-workers, patients, family members, and insurance providers—to promote transparency and respect within the healthcare environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal systems. This position will require you to demonstrate sensitivity to diverse patient backgrounds and an ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual recovery goals and capabilities. Your work will directly impact their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their mobility, strength, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interaction.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or a related clinical setting is highly favorable.

Compensation and Benefits

Holistic Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
