Senior Litigation Associate

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to manage a complex caseload and work with a team to serve as a strategic advisor to clients throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate is a self-directed litigator who combines strong technical skills with exceptional judgment, client service, and leadership. We are seeking a litigator who has experience taking and defending depositions, representing clients in court, and preferably, has experience with probate law. Key Responsibilities Independently manage a full docket of trust and estate litigation matters, including probate, conservatorship, and guardianship disputes. Develop and execute case strategy from pre-litigation assessment through final resolution. Draft, argue, and respond to motions; manage all phases of discovery; and prepare matters for trial. Serve as lead counsel in mediations, depositions, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings. Prepare pleadings, briefs, and appellate filings as required. Maintain direct client relationships, providing clear, practical advice and regular case updates. Collaborate with shareholders, associates, and paralegals to ensure efficient case management. Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the development of litigation best practices within the group. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active California Bar membership required. Minimum of 6+ years of substantive litigation experience. Proven ability to independently manage matters through all stages of litigation. Significant experience with discovery, law and motion, depositions, and trial preparation, with meaningful opportunities to gain hands-on trial experience. Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Experience with probate and trust administration preferred, but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Weinstock Manion
