Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as an LPC will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations, reassessing needs to inform treatment adjustments and ensure optimal care.
  • Facilitating effective communication among clients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring everyone involved is updated on patient progress.
  • Developing and presenting individualized treatment plans during supervisory meetings, outlining scheduled appointments, home visits, and evaluation sessions based on patient requirements.
  • Arranging and conducting home visits to gather qualitative data, conduct chart reviews, and perform staff interviews as needed for comprehensive care analysis.
  • Ensuring that treatment strategies are executed with precision and fidelity, overseeing the implementation of assigned programs.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly progress reports that track patient growth and responses to therapy.
  • Delivering training sessions for support staff and colleagues to enhance proficiency in program execution, documentation, and treatment techniques.
  • Completing follow-up assessments to track ongoing patient needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintaining meticulous records to ensure easy access to patient information for authorized personnel.
  • Acting as an essential liaison between diverse communities and the mental health sector, facilitating the achievement of treatment goals.
  • Collaborating in the development of training materials to promote best practices across the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population comprising both adults and youth, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. Your role is crucial in fostering a therapeutic environment where individuals feel safe and empowered to embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills and experiences will have an advantage:

Compensation and Benefits
