Director of Investor Relations

Position : Director, Investor Relations Location: New York, New York Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview The Director of Investor Relations will lead strategic communication efforts with lenders and investors, ensuring transparency and alignment with the company’s financial objectives. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to develop messaging, presentations, and Q&A materials for key stakeholders. The position requires a strong understanding of capital markets and the ability to design scalable processes that support long‑term growth and public company readiness. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities Lead and execute lender communications and investor relations initiatives, including quarterly updates and stakeholder engagement. Develop executive presentations and briefing materials to support leadership in investor and board interactions. Monitor capital markets, industry trends, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Partner with senior leaders to craft messaging and prepare for investor and board meetings, ensuring effective communication. Design and implement scalable investor relations processes, including disclosure practices and annual operating cadences. Maintain key lender relationship insights and ensure timely follow‑up on inquiries. Required Experience/Skills Strong background in investment banking (healthcare preferred) combined with investing experience in PE, private credit, hedge funds, equity research, or investor relations. Proven experience in investor relations at a PE‑backed or recently public company. Expertise in sell‑side equity research, preferably in healthcare or business services. Corporate development or strategic finance leadership experience with significant capital markets exposure. Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Preferred Experience/Skills IPO or public‑company transition experience. Background in healthcare services. Experience preparing and delivering board‑level presentations. Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with disclosure practices and regulatory requirements for public companies. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus. Strong academic foundation in financial analysis and capital markets. Continuing education in investor relations or corporate governance is desirable.
