Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver in Greenwood, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
