Pharmacy Technician

Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support a healthcare organization in San Antonio, TX 78257. This position helps with medication adherence goals and directly supports patient engagement, medication adherence, and overall member satisfaction.

The Pharmacy Care Technician will conduct inbound and outbound calls, complete member assessments, and remind members to remain adherent to their medications. The position supports medication adherence initiatives for the Central Texas region and contributes to maintaining and improving healthcare quality ratings.

Duties:

• Conduct approximately 1,400 inbound and outbound calls per month while engaging with members regarding medication adherence.
• Connect with approximately 1,000 patients per month based on current team metrics.
• Complete member assessments and provide medication adherence reminders and education.
• Provide strong customer service and communicate effectively with members over the phone.
• Remain focused and productive with limited direct supervision.
• Utilize multiple computer programs and systems to complete daily responsibilities and document member interactions.
• Support medication adherence goals that directly impact patient, provider, and staff satisfaction.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while being available on the phone for approximately 7.5 hours per day.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; education will be verified during onboarding.
• Minimum of 6 months of call center experience.
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license/registration required.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician certification/license required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with multiple computer programs simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with little oversight.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
