Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Machining Department Lead / Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a small team, and support CNC setup, programming adjustments, troubleshooting, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor production progress.
Support CNC setup, tooling, workholding, offsets, and troubleshooting.
Edit and modify CNC programs directly at the machine.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Guide machinists and operators while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Monitor workflow, production schedules, and team accountability.
Identify production issues and support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

5–7+ years of machining experience.
Strong CNC setup and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to edit and modify CNC code at the machine.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
Experience with tooling, workholding, offsets, and machining processes.
Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising production staff.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Lead Machinist, CNC Lead, Setup Machinist, or Machining Supervisor.
Experience managing workflow and production priorities in a manufacturing environment.
