Responsibilities Monitor entrances and exits to control access for employees, visitors, and vendors using CCTV surveillance systems and manual checks. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols, including providing first aid or CPR if necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Enforce security policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures and conflict management when needed. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations. Use surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity around the property continuously. Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is a plus. Strong understanding of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and basic law enforcement practices. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform patrols across large areas.
