We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated Mental Health Team in Winder, Georgia. This full-time role is pivotal in providing essential mental health support within our Special Education Program, which serves students with a wide array of special needs.

Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote but is integrated within a school-based framework. You will collaborate with educators and support staff to implement strategies that enhance the learning environment for students. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility required for occasional evening shifts, weekend rotations, and on-call availability for crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for students with diverse special needs to identify their unique challenges and requirements.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues, promote emotional well-being, and support successful integration into the school community.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of students experiencing ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions focused on personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Delivering crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing your skills to maintain a calm and supportive environment.

• Providing psychoeducation to students and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, allowing for effective tracking of student progress.

• Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and staff development activities to continually improve our service delivery.

• Staying current with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of a broad spectrum of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care strategies.

• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy utilizing various therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, along with sound judgment and a commitment to professional ethics.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer proficiency.

Preferred Experience\n

It is preferred that candidates have at least two years of post-licensure experience in a similar role, particularly within school settings or working with children and adolescents facing mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
