No more waiting for direct deposit or a paper check!Your Opportunity:Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility!Your Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends.Your Responsibilities:Perform quality control review of each orderCheck-in ordersAggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriersUtilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labelsMaintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timelyFollow safety requirements for the positionPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedAssembles orders and prepares goods for shipmentRecords shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availabilityCompletes shipping reportsYou Must Have:Strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer knowledge requiredAbility to lift up to 25 lbs.Requirements within this position:Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityWe Would Also Prefer:Experience in Pick/PackingExperience with UPS and FedEx softwareThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
