The Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role within the healthcare team by building personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans that promote optimal health or provide comfort at the end of life. Using evidence-based practices and compassion, they assist patients throughout their health journey.
