OR - Cardiac Surgery RN (CVOR)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac surgical nursing care to patients across a diverse population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Perform circulating nurse duties within the Operating Room for cardiac and open heart surgical cases
• Support procedural sedation patients and collaborate with a variety of provider specialties
• Deliver care for both same-day discharge and inpatient admission surgical patients

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing program
• Minimum two (2) years experience in ICU, PCU, and/or a medical/surgical acute care setting
• Minimum one (1) year CVOR/Open Heart experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
