MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina. Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 10 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or actively pursuing licensure At least one year of professional working experience Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology Current CPR certification Must have CCC certificates Other client‑determined requirements Responsibilities The Speech Language Pathologist / SLP is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits. They will teach patients how to make sounds, improve voices, and enhance oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively, and will also teach individuals muscle strengthening or compensatory strategies to swallow safely. Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills, enabling them to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.
