About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in Cath Lab License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (will accept RCIS), Fluoro Permit Must-Have: - STEMI and Stroke receiving center experience - Experience in stroke or interventional radiology - Ability to support cardiac, electrophysiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology - Skills in diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro Description: The position supports a STEMI and Stroke receiving center with four labs. Expect call requirements on weekdays and weekends. The role includes assisting with various procedures including cardiac, electrophysiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology. Candidates are required to have experience with TAVR, Mitraclip, and diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Applicants without EP or structural heart experience are welcome, but stroke or interventional radiology experience is highly preferred. The facility has a total of 266 staffed beds. Daily responsibilities involve accurate monitoring, angioplasty, stent placements, and performing EKG lead placements. Candidates will need to maintain a sterile field, scrub procedures, and circulate in the lab. The unit supports diverse patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Travelers may be expected to float between similar units as required. Flexibility with on-call shifts is essential, as there will be a minimum number of call shifts within the schedule.
