Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Start-up Team Manager to oversee complex site operations for clinical studies, manage team collaboration across matrix structures, and ensure regulatory compliance and successful site activation within assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage site activation and complex site operations according to timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate information flow between PPD teams, clients, and internal departments
- Monitor project status, provide metrics to management, and identify risks with contingency plans
- Oversee financial and contractual aspects of studies related to site activation
- Develop customer relationships aligned with assigned projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
- 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical research or project management
- Cross-functional project management knowledge and demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical development guidelines and medical terminology
- Risk identification and contingency planning capabilities
- Sound cross-cultural awareness and ability to adapt in diverse environments
