As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, support loss-prevention efforts, and maintain a professional, customer-focused presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and help promote a secure, efficient environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures and applicable screening requirements.
• Inspect packages, parcels, and other items entering or leaving the facility, following established protocols and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, operational spaces, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
