Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join a fast-paced, agile development team. This role will focus heavily on test automation across UI and API layers , while also supporting manual testing for new feature development within sprints .

The environment is highly automated, and this individual will play a critical role in maintaining, enhancing, and scaling automation frameworks alongside ongoing development efforts.


Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Perform manual testing for new features during sprint cycles , then convert to automation
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA team members, and product stakeholders
• Execute UI and API testing across multiple applications
• Build and maintain automation as part of CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Support performance and load testing as needed
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, tools, and best practices defined by the organization

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in test automation engineering (SDET role)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Selenium
  • Cucumber
  • Test automation frameworks
• Experience with API testing tools (experience with Bruno preferred; Postman knowledge transferable)
• Experience with both UI and API automation
• Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Ability to write and execute manual test cases when needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with:
  • Robot Framework
  • Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Security testing practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
• Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environment

• API Testing: Bruno (new), Postman (legacy)
• Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner
• Frameworks: Custom + Robot Framework (optional)
