Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

Description This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to support the anesthesiology department in a thriving medical practice that prioritizes patient care and safety. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Conduct pre‑anesthetic assessments to evaluate patient health Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure patient safety Monitor patient vitals and manage anesthesia during proceduresManage post‑anesthesia care and provide follow‑up assessments Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and safety Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation Contribute to anesthesiology quality improvement initiatives Requirements Associate degree in Nursing; CRNA certification required Active state nursing license as a Nurse Anesthetist Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesia practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities Commitment to patient safety and quality care Flexibility to adapt to varying shift demands Schedule: 7a-3p Beeper call 3 ORs Case Types: General, endo, OB/GYN, peds, vascular, ortho, ENT, acute pain, outpatient surgeries Blocks required Support Staff: 4 providers EMR: MedAxion Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
