About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Current CPR Certificate, ARRT, CRT certification for general radiography required Certifications: Must possess current mammography certification preferred Must-Have: Current experience in the mammography setting; actively working in the field Description: Performs all duties of the Staff Radiologic position in imaging services under the general supervision of the Radiologist. Conducts daily operations of the Department. Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (College or Institutional Program) approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is required. The college program must grant a minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology. Three plus years of experience as a mammography technologist is preferred. Days and weekends are required for this position. The role requires working a minimum of one weekend day per week or more, depending on scheduling needs. Current experience in the mammography setting is essential; candidates must have been actively working in the field, not just licensed in mammography without recent practical experience. Cancellation policy is not listed. Charting system utilized is EPIC. Position does not require a BSN. Trauma Level is classified under Acute Care.
