Benefits Training Tuition assistance Employee stock purchase plan Outstanding benefits package (Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, plus much more!) 401(k) with match Competitive wages Paid time off 10 paid holidays Responsibilities Washing and detailing all pieces of equipment in the yard Completing equipment traffic paperwork accurately Photographing all equipment moving in and out of the facility Conducting visual inspections of machines for check‑in and check‑out Verifying operator manuals and safety equipment Organizing the yard Maintaining the cleanliness of the exterior of the facility Assisting shop technicians with mechanical work including installation of parts, PDIs, inspections, etc. Incorporating Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities Performing other duties as assigned Maintaining consistent, regular, and reliable attendance, arriving at the designated start time Qualifications Good customer‑relation skills Knowledge of construction equipment Experience operating heavy equipment is required Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a friendly and professional personality Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills Intermediate language skills: Ability to read, interpret, and write documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to speak effectively in front of customers or employees Basic mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two‑digit numbers, and to perform operations with monetary and measurement units Intermediate reasoning ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; solve problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized situations Equal Opportunity Employer Alta Equipment Group is an equal opportunity employer.
