divh2LPN Nursing Care Position/h2pA nonexempt position responsible for nursing care under the supervision of physicians and clinical services manager. May be responsible for basic clinical tasks including but not limited to, vital signs, routine blood draws, immunization, injections, point of care testing, and EKGs and provides care that is consistent with Inspira policies and external regulations and requirements./ph3Education Experience:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliGraduation from an approved practical nursing program./liliMinimum one year of LPN experience; clinical experience preferred./liliExperience in a medical practice environment strongly preferred./li/ulh3Certification/Licensure/h3ulliState-licensed practical nurse./liliAmerican Heart Healthcare Provider CP./li/ulh3Knowledge Skills:/h3ulliAble to operate multi-line phone system, update and modify EMR records on computer, understand medical charting, able to operate stethoscope, echocardiography (EKG) machine, ear-washing instruments, blood pressure cuff, speculums, and other nursing items./liliMay involve use of walkers, wheelchairs, pulse oximetry, and oxygen tanks./liliKnowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions. Understanding of documentation standards./liliKnowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatment.
