Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and experience using hand tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling products according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and other manufactured components according to work instructions and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and assembly documentation to complete assigned builds accurately
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to perform assembly tasks
• Maintain accurate production logs, records, and reports related to work completed, equipment maintenance, and product issues
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed to support production operations
• Maintain and organize tools, parts, and supplies; communicate material needs to the appropriate team members
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards
• Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or production concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
• Move completed units through production areas, including Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), Mounting, and staging areas as assigned
• Mount units to trailers following established procedures and safety guidelines
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software for completing production logs and records
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or production experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds at a time
• Strong manual dexterity required for assembling products and components
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, labels, and electronic components
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments during seasonal changes
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and hearing protection
