AI Software Engineer

Job Description

The AI Engineer is a senior-leaning software engineer responsible for building, enhancing, and

supporting AI-driven applications within Snowflake’s ecosystem. This role blends modern

application development with LLM-based workflows, agent creation, and SDLC modernization. This a remote position that is a 6-month contract-to-hire. We're targeting an hourly rate of $70-74/HR.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain React/NextJS applications deployed inside Snowflake containers

• Develop and refine AI agents, prompts, and workflows using Cortex/Cocoa or equivalent LLM

frameworks

• Support and enhance existing Coco applications and feature agents

• Improve SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows (Git, Jenkins, etc.)

• Collaborate with data engineering, QA, and integration teams to deliver high-quality AI-enabled

products

• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for AI-driven development

• Ramp up quickly on value-based care concepts and Honest Health’s operational workflows

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years as a Software Engineer

• Strong background in Java, React, NextJS, and Spring

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI-driven development, prompt engineering, or agent

frameworks

• Familiarity with Snowflake (Cortex/Coco experience is a plus, not required)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and DevOps collaboration

• Strong communication skills and ability to validate AI-generated code and logic • Healthcare or value-based care domain knowledge

• Experience deploying applications inside Snowflake or similar secure containerized environments

• Prior work with Anthropic, OpenAI, or other enterprise LLM platforms
