Primavera Scheduler – Power Industry Background

Experienced Primavera Scheduler with a strong background in power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial construction projects. Skilled in developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 for EPC, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Create baseline schedules, progress updates, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor critical path activities and identify schedule risks.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, manpower histograms, and resource loading reports.
• Track project progress against milestones and contractual deadlines.
• Support outage and turnaround scheduling for power plants and substations.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Conduct schedule variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and scheduling standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field.
• 3–10+ years of scheduling/planning experience in power or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction sequences.
• Excellent coordination and reporting skills.
