Government Travel Consultant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Responsible for all aspects of travel management for government clients, the full-time Government Travel Consultant will communicate with customers to determine travel needs and book domestic and complex international itineraries using a GDS system while ensuring compliance with federal travel regulations. Key responsibilities Manage client communications to arrange new travel plans or modify existing itineraries Utilize Sabre to accurately book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations Provide travel expertise and maintain knowledge of federal travel regulations and client preferences Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel, with a focus on government clients Proficiency in using a GDS system, specifically Sabre Strong understanding of federal travel regulations, including the Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement Ability to successfully pass a government clearance process and background checks
