Employment SpecialistStatus: Part Time HourlyFLSA Classification: Non-ExemptHourly Rate: $27.00Schedule: Work up to 40 hours per week; Flexible may require evenings and weekends.Summary of the Position: The Employment Specialist is responsible for supporting individuals in achieving meaningful employment outcomes. This includes evaluating each individual's skills, interests, and employment goals to identify job opportunities that align with their abilities and preferences.The Employment Specialist provides on-the-job training and ongoing support to promote long-term success and independence in the workplace.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field ORBachelor's Degree in any other major with one year of paid experience ORAssociates Degree or 60 completed college credits with three years of paid experience working with young adults and/or adults ORHigh School Diploma or GED and one-year experience paid or volunteer, working with young adults and/or adultsExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of community resourcesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
