Diesel Truck Mechanic
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift Available: 1st Shift
Martin Transportation Systems (MTS) is looking for skilled and motivated Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanics to join our team. If you're looking for a stable career with competitive pay, outstanding benefits, and a company that invests in its employees, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Class 8 tractors and trailers
- Perform maintenance on our modern fleet of Freightliner tractors
- Perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trailers
- Complete trailer repairs, servicing, and welding
- Utilize Class 8 diagnostic software and equipment
- Perform light computer work to document repairs and maintenance
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic
- Minimum 1 year of diesel mechanic experience
- Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
- Basic welding experience is a plus
- Must provide your own basic mechanic tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
