Job Description
Neuro/Stroke Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Work shift is from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on weekends. On-call is required every other week, approximately 10-15 days per month.

Job Description

The Neuro/Stroke Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a neuro/stroke unit. The role includes monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the neuro/stroke unit.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct patient education and provide support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Experience in neuro/stroke nursing is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
