About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Newport, Vermont, 05855!

Job Title: PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 5 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS (if applicable) Must-Have: Ability to work independently, perform charge nurse duties, and float to other units as needed Description: Two positions are available for a nurse specializing in PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry. This role requires working the night shift with an every-other-weekend rotation. Candidates must be proficient in performing charge nurse duties and be able to work independently. The position also involves floating to other units as necessary. The work environment is a critical access hospital located in a small community known for outdoor activities. Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation options. Candidates are encouraged to embrace the opportunity to live and work in a community that offers a peaceful lifestyle and recreational activities. Ongoing support will be provided to assist with the transition into this role. Agency professionals must attend department quarterly education sessions. Holiday coverage will be required.
