Associate, External Product Specialists w/ Goldman Sachs Bank USA – Richardson, Texas Support product and marketing teams to develop and execute research plans to analyze customer preferences and behaviors and market activity to inform and define potential new products and features. Qualifications: Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in a related role or Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Masters) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelors) with: synthesizing and presenting key insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership; using one or more of the following mainstream programming languages: Python, Java, C, Scala, Alteryx, C++, or Presto; developing data visualizations via Tableau or Power BI; working with large data sets and Big Data tools and stack, including SQL or Hadoop; making recommendations to enhance data processes within Oracle, Sybase, or Snowflake to improve application of data in making business decisions; and customer segmentation and applying appropriate machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, or NLP.
