Own Your Future. Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a Product Owner to join our team delivering Defensive Cyber capabilities. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO .

As a Product Owner with MTSI you will provide support to the US Space Force, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO-S), in its mission to provide defensive cyber capabilities to the warfighter.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 6+ years' experience as Scrum Master or Agile coach or 2 years' experience as a Product Owner
  • Applications/Frameworks (at least 2): JIRA, Confluence, Slack, & SAFe
  • Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, cross-functional

Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting Government, DoD, and USSF
  • AWS Cloud; DevSecOps in Cloud environment
  • Leading Teams (SM, PO, Technical Lead) developing Defensive Cyber capabilities

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM OR Cyber-related specialty plus 10 years' experience, including Scrum Master or Product Owner (required); or Master's degree in STEM/Cyber- related specialty and experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner

Certifications:
  • SAFe Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams, SAFe PO/PM or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master & SAFe for Government
  • Cloud Certification
  • Cybersecurity certification, e.g . Security+

Security Clearance:
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.

Location/Travel Requirements:
  • Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $135,000/year to $155,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. This posting will be renewed periodically until the position is filled.
