Job Title Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) - Clinical & Imaging Support


Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join a dedicated clinical team in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you will perform core clinical assistant duties while receiving specialized, hands-on training to operate a C-Arm X-ray machine under direct physician supervision during routine procedures.

Pay Range $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)


Job Type Part-time (Under 30 hours per week)


Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Note: Shift start/end times may occasionally vary based on the daily procedure schedule.
• No weekends, nights, or major holidays

Location Kansas City, MO 64132 (Onsite)


Key Responsibilities

• Assist physician during minor fluoroscopy procedures (e.g., fistulograms, thrombectomies, catheter insertions/exchanges).
• Position and operate the C-Arm X-ray equipment under the direct supervision of the attending physician (full equipment training provided).
• Manage imaging display screens, adjust requested settings, and print required procedure images for patient charts.
• Send saved procedure images to the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) system.
• Assist with patient transfers to and from procedure tables.
• Maintain routine clinical tasks including taking vitals, lab preparation, and basic patient care support.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, patient privacy standards, and clinic safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting required.
• Certification: CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong patient care skills (vitals, lab prep, basic testing) and physical ability to assist patients with transfer.
• Attributes: Excellent communication, strong team orientation, and high attention to detail.
• Prior C-Arm or PACS experience is a bonus, but comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

• Solid scrubs required.
