Entry Level Automotive TechnicianMonaco Ford is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to join our team in Niantic, Connecticut. In this role, you will utilize your skills and knowledge in the auto industry to repair and maintain vehicles for our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.Compensation for this position is $36,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and employee discounts on services and products.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic automotive maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checksConduct vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical issuesComplete repairs and replacements of parts such as brakes, batteries, and filtersUtilize computer diagnostic systems to identify and troubleshoot problemsCommunicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle repairs and recommendationsKeep an organized and clean work area and toolsFollow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on vehiclesAssist with other duties as assigned by managementRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in the automotive industry or an automotive program is preferred but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of automotive tools and equipmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Monaco Ford is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
