Who You Are Get down on the floor to play and explore with children Bring creativity, patience, and joy into every interaction Support children’s social and emotional growth Are dependable, motivated, and a true team player Can follow EEC regulations while keeping the classroom engaging Have prior classroom experience (preferred but not required — we train the right fit!) What You’ll Do Partner with co-teachers to create a safe, positive, and FUN learning environment Plan and prepare curriculum activities in advance with your teaching team Document children’s milestones and daily experiences using Brightwheel Foster kindness, cooperation, and developmentally appropriate expectations Build strong relationships with families, coworkers, and our LHLC community Maintain EEC compliance and classroom organization standards Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older EEC Teacher Certification (Infant/Toddler or Preschool accepted) Current First Aid & CPR Certification Professional Qualifications (PQ) Registry Number Completion of required EEC documentation (12 Essentials Training, physical, immunizations including MMR documentation or titer) Most importantly: a genuine love for working with children Perks & Benefits 12 Paid Holidays Earned Sick Time Retirement Plan Options Discounted Childcare Winter Break Bonus The last week of December off every year Access to Early Education College Coursework (EEC Grant Programs) Supportive leadership and strong team culture We are proud to be a fully staffed, organized, and compliance-focused center where teachers feel supported and valued.
