Job Title: Gastroenterologist


Overview:
StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a leading healthcare system in North Central Florida to recruit a qualified Gastroenterologist for a private practice in the community. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a supportive team, providing comprehensive gastroenterology services including endoscopies and other procedures. The position emphasizes work-life balance, with shared call responsibilities and the chance to perform upper and lower scopes if desired, all within a thriving healthcare environment.


Required Skills:

• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology
• Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship program
• New graduates encouraged to apply
• Ability to perform general bread-and-butter procedures
• Experience in ERCP or EUS is highly valued but not required
• Strong communication and clinical skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience in performing endoscopic procedures such as upper and lower scopes

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to participate in shared call schedule (1:3 or better)
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges at a 113-bed acute care hospital
• Visa support provided for eligible candidates
