What You ll Do

• Provide OB/GYN care in a hospital and outpatient setting
• Manage both routine and complicated deliveries, including low risk and high risk pregnancies
• Perform OB ultrasounds Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted interpretation
• Conduct FHR interpretation via NST & FSE
• Assist with C-sections and other obstetric procedures as needed
• Collaborate with nursing staff and support team to ensure quality patient care
• Cover on-call responsibilities, being within 30 minutes of the hospital during shifts

What You Need
Required:

• Ohio Medical License or eligibility
• Board Certified or truly eligible in OB/GYN
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Ability to interpret OB ultrasounds and perform obstetric procedures
• Minimum 2+ years of obstetrics experience

Preferred:

• Prior locum or hospital-based OB/GYN experience
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR

About the Assignment
Mary Rutan Hospital, a leading community hospital in Bellefontaine, OH, is seeking a temporary OB/GYN provider for urgent short-term coverage with potential for continued sporadic shifts. The hospital features 45 staffed beds plus 20 in the ED, with a busy obstetric service handling approximately 360 births per year. The OB/GYN team covers both routine and complicated deliveries, with a focus on high-quality patient care. The provider will be responsible for managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, performing ultrasounds, and participating in delivery procedures.
