Occupational Therapist
Facilitates restoration of function and prevention of physical disabilities for patients with rehabilitation needs and/or physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.
Essential Functions
- Identifies Patient Rehabilitation Care Requirements
- Plans, Implements and Evaluates Rehabilitative Care
- Provides Information to Patients and Healthcare Team
- Monitors Delivery of Care
- Assures Quality of Care
- Protects Self, Co-Workers, and Patients
- Respects Patients
- Maintains Safe and Clean Working Environment
- Ensures Operation of Equipment
- Maintains Supplies Inventory
- Maintains Professional and Technical Knowledge
- Contributes to the Team Effort
- Promotes the Development of Good Shepherd as a System
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- Occupational Therapist license required
- Basic Life Support / CPR, as a healthcare provider, per the American Heart Association required
