Occupational Therapist

Facilitates restoration of function and prevention of physical disabilities for patients with rehabilitation needs and/or physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.

• Plans, Implements and Evaluates Rehabilitative Care
• Provides Information to Patients and Healthcare Team
• Monitors Delivery of Care
• Assures Quality of Care
• Protects Self, Co-Workers, and Patients
• Respects Patients
• Maintains Safe and Clean Working Environment
• Ensures Operation of Equipment
• Maintains Supplies Inventory
• Maintains Professional and Technical Knowledge
• Contributes to the Team Effort
• Promotes the Development of Good Shepherd as a System

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• Occupational Therapist license required
• Basic Life Support / CPR, as a healthcare provider, per the American Heart Association required
