Our community is a close-knit group of remarkable individuals driven by intellectual inquiry, a commitment to social justice, and a shared dedication to making a difference in the world.RequirementsJob OverviewThe research assistant will work under the direction of a Principal Investigator’s program of research focusing on improving memory and brain function in older adults with kidney disease following a 6-months walking program.Under the direct supervision of the PI and Project Director, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Assisting with recruitment and clinic interactionAssisting with data collection, cleaning, and preparationSupport with manuscript preparation and submission, including conducting literature searches, manuscript writing and manuscript submissionsAssisting with administrative tasks as assignedAttending all research related meetingsWorking closely with sites and study personnelPerforming other duties as assignedWork InteractionsThe research coordinator will report to Dr. Bronas and work on Dr. Bronas ongoing research.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience; A degree in psychology, pre-med, public health, nursing or related field is preferredTwo years of related experience.Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (both written & verbal) skills.Prior research experience in exercise training, neurocognitive assessment, mild cognitive impairment, and chronic kidney disease is requiredWork Mode DesignationThis position has been designated On Campus.
