CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging procedures within a high-volume Radiology department, averaging approximately 80 procedures per day across XR and CT
• Operate Siemens 64-slice and 128-slice CT scanners, C-arms, portable units, and fluoroscopy equipment
• Float as needed to perform portable chest X-rays throughout the facility, as well as CT, C-arm, X-ray, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Document and manage patient imaging data using Cerner EMR
• Rotate holiday coverage with core staff
• Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude and contribute to a quality patient experience

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT required
• California CRT license with Fluoroscopy permit required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Radiology required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Travelers must provide their own radiation dosimetry badge

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Siemens CT equipment (64-slice and/or 128-slice platforms)
• Experience with OEC C-arms, Carestream or GE portables, and Philips Rad/R&F systems
• Familiarity with a fast-paced, multi-modality radiology environment
