This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk‑in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems. Support the client by overseeing all network services and performing tests on equipment and circuits, troubleshooting issues and resolving any requests or concerns in a timely manner, and ensuring systems are error‑free. Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas‑related issues with commercial kitchen equipment. Requirements High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or certification preferred. Minimum 2‑5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and display excellent communication skills. Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Preferred certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as outlined in company policy. Passable background and drug screening. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of all safety requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and heavy lift equipment. Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights. Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, and climb up and down ladders. Extensive daily travel to work site locations. Exposure to electrical, steam, and high‑heat units requiring extreme caution and safety equipment.
