HVAC Tech - Austin Industrial (Franklin, VA)

Rate: $31 USD per hour Job Title: HVAC Technician Location: Franklin, VA Maintain, install, repair HVAC and related mechanical systems for industrial manufacturing environments, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and install plant mechanical systems in pulp and paper manufacturing industry. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment like conveyors and presses. Read mechanical prints and diagrams (including HVAC systems). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience – 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Critical thinking; predictive and preventative maintenance, finding root cause of failure. Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems. Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work alone, with a partner, or as a member of a team maintaining safety, quality & productivity. Engage in preventative maintenance processes through facility. Willingness to cross‑train and learn new skills in other technical areas to enhance capabilities. Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work order. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Driver's License. HVAC Certification required. Meet physical demands as listed above. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location. Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment.
