Registered Nurse

This position requires rotating shifts. Candidates will care for a variety of medical patients with both acute and chronic illnesses. Patient conditions may include sepsis and various infectious processes. Nurses will care for those with acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Diabetes management, GI issues, and fluid/electrolyte imbalances will also be part of the responsibilities. Experience with managing alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, and endocarditis is essential. Nurses will treat patients with heart disease and skin/wound issues. Experience with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, including COPD, flu, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis is required. Candidates should be prepared to handle a variety of medical cases in a fast-paced environment.

Experience: - Minimum years of experience required. License: - Nursing license as required by state or jurisdiction. Certifications: - BLS certification required. - ACLS certification preferred. Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes. - Experience with various infusions, including diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone. - Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients. - Experience caring for tracheostomies and laryngectomies. - Experience in telemetry monitoring. - Experience with complex wound care. - Experience in central line care, maintenance, and blood draws.
