Job Description
Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing point of care testing and will assist with clerical duties as assigned by nursing and laboratory management in support of operational needs. Location Herriman, UT Unit Information Unit: ER Lab FSED
- Number of Beds: To be determined
- Number of Staff: To be determined
- Type of Equipment: To be determined
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): To be determined
- Conduct point of care testing
- Perform clerical duties as assigned
- Support nursing and lab operations effectively
- Required Certifications: ASCP Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a laboratory setting
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of point of care testing procedures
