About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3p-3a, on-call required Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications preferred Must-Have: Experience in Meditech 6.0 system Description: ER nurse needed to work 36 hours per week. This position includes on-call shifts for a 13-week assignment. Previous experience as a traveler is strongly preferred. The facility has an 11-bed emergency room. This is a critical access hospital with a Level 4 trauma designation. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts. On-call duties will require some 24-hour shifts. A flu vaccine is required with no exceptions. Travelers must reside outside of a 100-mile radius. Requests for time off are limited to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment, and guaranteed hours will not apply. Holiday coverage may not be required.
