Uniontown Nursing and Rehab – Uniontown, PA
Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care
Uniontown Nursing and Rehab is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
If you are passionate about helping residents regain independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve meaningful functional goals, we would love to hear from you. Our therapy team works collaboratively to provide personalized, resident-centered care in a supportive Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care environment.
Experienced COTAs and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
What You'll DoAs a COTA, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary team to:
Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments according to individualized plans of care
Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional abilities
Implement creative and effective therapeutic interventions
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using Net Health
Participate in team meetings, care planning, and ongoing education
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team
New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
SNF/LTC experience is a plus, but not required
